On February 16, 2025, the Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Service Unit, School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry, Walailak University, organized a training session on salt-tolerant Nile tilapia strains and techniques for maximizing production efficiency. The training was conducted for aquaculture farmers in Pak Phun Subdistrict at the Pak Phun Municipality Aquatic Breeding and Nursery Demonstration Center under the project for enhancing the potential of salt-tolerant Nile tilapia farming in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The event was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wutisuthimethawee, a faculty member of the Agricultural Science and Innovation Program, and Mr. Patcharapol Lukkanahat, a Ph.D. student in Agricultural Science and Food Science. Both served as guest speakers, sharing their expertise with the participants. Additionally, the organizing team conducted field visits to follow up on the progress of salt-tolerant Nile tilapia farming among the participating farmers.
