20 August 2025 Academic Service Activity: “Promoting Vegetable Cultivation” for Local Farmers

Faculty members and academic staff from the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry, Walailak University, in collaboration with the Demonstration and Learning Center, conducted an academic service activity for farmers in the Huathapan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The session, under the topic “Promoting Vegetable Cultivation,” was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanet Khomphet, lecturer in the Agricultural Science and Innovation program, and Mr. Rewat Wiwatpatipan, academic officer from the Demonstration and Learning Center. The experts shared both theoretical knowledge and practical techniques to support sustainable vegetable production.

This activity is part of Walailak University’s mission to provide academic services, aiming to apply agricultural knowledge and innovation for real benefits in improving the quality of life of local farmers, while also strengthening and fostering sustainable community development.
