Global Excellence! WU’s SAF Welcomes Exchange Students from Indonesia, Showcasing World-Class Labs and Botanic Garden
The School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry (SAF) at Walailak University has reaffirmed its leadership in international agricultural technology and food science by warmly welcoming four exchange students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia: Ms. Rindiani Putri Maharani, Ms. Zahra Rizya Suhaimi Putri, Ms. Aura Anindiya Hafizhah, and Ms. Ririn Rahayu. The exchange program runs from July 20 to August 24, 2026.
On their first day, the students received an impressive welcome tour highlighting SAF’s academic readiness and infrastructure. The tour featured SAF’s specialized laboratories, equipped with advanced analytical and food-processing tools that support hands-on learning and high-impact research. They also visited the Walailak University Botanic Garden, one of the region’s largest and most vibrant biodiversity learning centers, where they enjoyed the scenic views from the Bota Tower and the green campus environment.
This initiative highlights SAF’s strong academic network across ASEAN and strengthens the international atmosphere on campus. By offering real-world experience, global exposure, and cutting-edge facilities, SAF remains dedicated to preparing students to thrive in their future careers.
