SAF Walailak University Graduate Students Join Research Exchange at UPNVJT Indonesia Under the iLEARN Project
Between 10 August and 9 September 2026, graduate students from the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry (SAF) at Walailak University took part in an international research exchange under the iLEARN Project at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur (UPNVJT), Indonesia. The initiative aimed to strengthen academic networks and advance high-impact research collaborations between the partner institutions.

The exchange featured two graduate researchers conducting thesis-related studies under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worawan Panpipat from Walailak University, alongside distinguished host professors from UPNVJT. Mr. Ifwarisan Defri undertook his research attachment under the academic guidance of Assoc. Dr. Rosida, S.TP., M.P., while Mrs. Sabina Yasmin, a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural and Food Science, conducted her advanced research guided by Prof. Dr. Dedin Finatsiyatull Rosida, S.TP., M.Kes.

Throughout the one-month attachment, the students gained valuable international laboratory experience, participated in academic discussions, and advanced their thesis investigations. This mobility not only deepened the students’ research competencies but also laid a strong foundation for joint scholarly publications and enduring institutional partnerships.

The program was fully supported by the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry (SAF) and the Center for International Affairs (CIA), Walailak University.
