Walailak University Scholar Advances Global Presence at ITP2I Indonesia, Driving Sustainable Palm Oil Innovation

The School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry at Walailak University reinforces its international leadership in agricultural innovation as Associate Professor Dr. Potchamas Suraninpong, a faculty member of the Agriculture and Innovation Program, served as an invited international speaker at ‘The 3rd Scientific Meeting of ITP2I’ on July 10, 2026, in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia—one of ASEAN’s foremost palm oil hubs.

During this visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Potchamas held strategic academic discussions with Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Tengku Dahril, Rector of Institut Teknologi Perkebunan Pelalawan Indonesia (ITP2I), along with senior executive leadership. The consultation centered on establishing bilateral research collaborations, fostering faculty and student exchange, and developing high-impact research to collectively drive sustainable advancements across the palm oil sector.
