The improvement of yeast, a host cell for enzymes or protein production in medicine.

The School of Agricultural Technology commences 28 years of the achievement. The research of key enzyme and protein production from improving host cells of yeast to take advantage in the field of the medical, food industry, or agriculture. This research was executed by genetic engineering to adapt protein folding that achieves an accurate and express collaboration with the modified gene under the control of the appropriate promoter. Therefore, the yeast could produce the correct structure of enzymes and proteins directly along with workable and with enough concentration as required. The details can be searched from the published article in the International Database and ISI.
